Homopolymers

Polymers resulting from the polymerisation of a single monomer or polymer with a single type of repeating unit.

Polypropylene Homopolymer (PPH) is the most widely utilized. PPH offers a high strength to weight ratio and is stiffer and stronger than copolymer, This combined with good chemical resistance and weldability allows this material to be used in many corrosion resistant structures.

Features & Benefits

  • Lightweight
  • Excellent formability
  • Exceptional processability
  • Good aesthetics
  • More rigid than copolymer polypropylene
  • Good stress crack resistance
  • Excellent durability

Applications

used in the production of packaging, textiles, films, housewares, automotive, electrical appliances as well as many other applications.
